As tensions around the Bloodline increase, we saw another fantastic episode of WWE SmackDown. We found out who Cody Rhodes’ next title opponent would be, and tonight’s SmackDown main event was fantastic.
SmackDown began with Nick Aldis calling Cody Rhodes out. Logan Paul would be Cody’s next opponent, according to the general manager.
Paul publicly expressed his excitement about sharing the main event stage with Cody Rhodes to usher in the Triple H era of WWE.
Logan claimed to be the all-time greatest rookie and took credit for the rise in popularity of WWE among younger people.
Many people say Logan is a dumb ass, but Cody praised him for his accomplishments and promised to uncover the truth at the King and Queen of the Rings.
Backstage, AJ Styles stated that there was no better time to become King of the Ring than now.
Results for May 10, 2024’s WWE SmackDown: Naomi vs. Nia Jax – Queen of the Ring Tournament Match
Before Naomi returned with her own right hooks and quickly secured the takedown, Jax established control early on and scored several powerful strikes.
Jax was sent outside and into the post by Naomi’s Bulldog, which she followed up with a huge dive and a Samoan Drop on the ground.
Nia returned to the ring and delivered a headbutt, but Naomi countered with a Banzai Drop and returned with uppercuts and the Heatseeker. Naomi received an Avalanche Frankensteiner before Jax was ejected from the moonsault.
Even so, Jax was able to win on SmackDown by getting up and putting Naomi down for the Annihilator in the corner.
Hence, Nia Jax defeated Naomi.

SmackDown King of the Ring Tournament match between Baron Corbin and Carmelo Hayes
Early on, Hayes maintained control and avoided a few of Baron’s blows before receiving a smack across the face to infuriate him.
After making a comeback, Corbin dominated the bout and applied a springboard clothesline for a nearfall.
Corbin attempted a vertical suplex, but Melo dodged the splash and came back with a codebreaker. After Melo countered with an inside cradle and won the rollup, Corbin grabbed his trademark Uranage but missed the End of the Days.
Carmelo Hayes defeated Baron Corbin as a result.

Piper Niven vs. Jade Cargill in the Queen of the Ring Tournament Match
Both women survived the blows, but Cargill maintained control early on and clobbered Niven before the latter returned with shoulder tackles.
With Chelsea Green approaching the ringside, Jade managed to secure the takedown with a final block, but Niven countered into a senton, preventing Jade from executing the Scorpion Splash.
Before the referee intervened and gave Jade a warning, Piper had been throwing Jade about the ring and strangling her. After coming back with a Blue Thunder Bomb, Cargill was hit by a Stinger Splash in the corner.
Piper countered the Jaded, forcing Jade to throw a cannonball into the corner. After countering the next Vader Bomb, Jade delivered a pump kick that sealed the victory.
Jade Cargill defeated Piper Niven as a result.

Candice LeRae versus Bianca Belair in the Queen of the Ring Tournament match
As usual, LeRae and Hartwell attempted to cheat right away by pulling Bianca into the corner, but Belair dismissed their attempt.
LeRae was taken down by the EST, who failed to do a moonsault before Candice went after the damaged knee.
After kicking Candice off, Bianca attempted a Fallaway slam and then lifted her up for a suplex, but her legs buckled.
On SmackDown, Candice attempted the Lionsault, but Bianca won with the KOD.
Result: Candice LeRae lost against Bianca Belair.

Paul Heyman approached Solo backstage to have a brief conversation with the Bloodline. As the Wiseman for Roman Reigns, Paul expressed concern that Solo was making choices without consulting The Tribal Chief.
Clapping in return, Solo stated that they were losing money as a result of Paul’s choice to exclude Roman from the draft. He was accused of gesturing to Jey Uso for assistance. Sikoa continued, saying that he had met with Roman following WrestleMania and that, as a result, Heyman was now Solo’s wise man, per Roman’s orders.
Solo shot a sly glance at his colleagues after demanding an embrace and declaring his love for him.
Tama Tonga vs. Angelo Dawkins in the King of the Ring Tournament match
Before Dawkins deflected a charge and made a big impression, Tonga had a solid start with several big strikes. Before Solo could cause trouble, Tama was transferred outside, and Angelo eliminated him before Montez dove into the Bloodline.
Tonga threw Ford into the SmackDown ring post after kicking out of the Sky High back in the ring. Tama was able to get the winning jumping reverse STO on Dawkins after Solo struck Ford with the Samoan Spike, creating a diversion.
Tama Tonga defeated Angelo Dawkins as a result.

The King of the Ring Tournament match pitted Randy Orton against AJ Styles
Randy’s hometown was the scene of SmackDown, and the audience was behind him as the Viper quickly gained the lead in the contest. After being sent outdoors, AJ returned for some forearms.
AJ launched himself off the announce desk outside the ring, but Randy grabbed him and suplexed him into the apron and then the desk.
After hitting a chop block and focusing on Randy’s hurt knee, AJ used knee shots to escape the draping DDT. Styles tried for the Calf Crusher, but Randy broke out because he was hurting.
Prior to AJ blocking the RKO, Orton received the iconic DDT. After scoring the RKO and winning as SmackDown went off the air, Randy kicked out of the Phenomenal Forearm!
AJ Styles lost to Randy Orton in the end.
