Cody Rhodes has commented in reaction to what his brother Dustin Rhodes told him following his victory at WrestleMania XL last month.
The American Nightmare became the first member of the Rhodes family to win the biggest prize in professional wrestling history by ending Roman Reigns’ incredible 1,316-day streak. Even though Dustin wasn’t visible on film prior to or following the fight, he was there in the stadium with several other AEW superstars.
At the Backlash news conference following the event, Cody Rhodes said that although though he and Dustin Rhodes didn’t have a long conversation at WrestleMania XL, it was nevertheless very important.
Cody Rhodes managed to hang onto his Undisputed WWE Championship at Backlash in France. In front of AJ Styles, he stood by it.
