It appears that WWE unintentionally disclosed who won Backlash by leaking the results.

It’s likely that WWE inadvertently destroyed a Backlash match by disclosing the result.

WWE Backlash is set to take place in Lyon, France this weekend. The show has so far promised an exciting bill including Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles battling it out for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Another highly anticipated battle on the schedule is the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between The Kabuki Warriors and Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair.

Tonight on SmackDown, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Bayley, and Naomi teamed up to face Damage CTRL and Tiffany Stratton. The two teams engaged in a tough battle, but Belair’s crew won on the blue brand.

When WWE analyst Corey Graves stated that the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions would be unveiled at Backlash, he unintentionally gave away the result of the title contest.

This was a big mistake for someone with Corey Graves’ caliber of experience, as it looked like he gave away the result of a major championship match. It’s unknown if this will compel WWE to make a drastic change of direction and allow the existing champions to retain their titles.
